Candle Care
Hold your lighter/match to the wood wick for 10-20 seconds to light. ****Your first burn is the most important!! As your candle burns, allow the wax to reach a full "melt pool" before extinguishing (((<--picture to the left))
), this will take 1 to 2 hours to achieve, make sure you're in for the night . Melt pool refers to the point where the melted wax from a burning candle reaches the edge of its container. This will prevent tunneling from occurring (picture below ).
****Don’t exceed 3 or more hours of burning to avoid an enlarged flame and a hot vessel.
****Keep the wick length 1/4 inch before each use. Charred wood won’t light. Before you relight your candle, remove the charred wood with your finger using a napkin. If you're using a wick trimmer (sophisticated) , becareful not to over cut your wick. Cut the every top of the wick, the charred wood will easily come off. All tips will prevent a enlarged flame. *****Place the candle away from window curtains, drafts, children, pets, and flammables. Place the candle on an even surface. Avoid moving your candle while it is lit. To prevent wax from spilling and burning your hand. *Store the candle in a cool place to avoid color/scent fading. ****NEVER leave your candle unattended***

Tunneling
Tunneling is a condition where the candle's center hollows out. Wax has a memory and once a burning pattern has been established it can be hard to change it.
This happens when you don't allow the wax to achieve a full melt pool.
***A common scenario***
You light your candle thinking your staying home but decided to run a few errands , and blew out your candle, preventing a full melt pool. To prevent Tunneling:
Make sure your done with your busy day . If you're a very busy person, we suggest you try our wax melts.

If Tunneling happens ......heres a quick fix.
If your candle looks like this picture above, no worries. Your goal is to make the wax leveled/flat.
*Use a hair dryer or a heat gun .
Set the dryer setting on the lowest level to prevent wax from spilling out of the vessel. Patiently swirl the hair dryer around to melt the wax until the the surface is even.
**Another method, use a spoon to remove the wax along the candle wall. You can use the excess wax in your wax warmer or throw it away.

Our Story
So many reasons why I make candles. My mother burned candles all the time!!! It didn't matter what the season was; it was always Cinnamon Vanilla or Apple Cinnamon. Who would have thought I'd create some one day?
At my job, the chandler left; her military husband got new orders. So, I decided to try my hand at making candles. I made them the way I wanted, incorporating my love for travel, nature, beauty, and philanthropy. Also, include eco-friendly practices in my business and in life (the best way I can).

We sell glass candles, concrete candles, wax melts, room spray, and soaps (no detergents). Every concrete vessel is unique, with its organic appeal. Candles are made in small batches and hand-poured/crafted, ensuring you get the best quality.
